Moving Day!

It's all over now. Every NHL team has a roster that they have to be happy with as they enter the stretch run, and there's nothing anyone can do about it in terms of moving players. Lots of players changed teams today, but it wasn't overly exciting. A few big names moved, and a couple of teams improved greatly, but it was a quieter day that what we've been used to seeing. However, anytime that Wozniewski and Wisniewski get moved on the same day, there has to be some excitement, right? Here is the breakdown on a per-team basis for how each team did. If you want to update your video game rosters, here's where you'll get the rundown.

I like what Pittsburgh, Phoenix, and San Jose did. I have no idea what GM Glen Sather and the New York Rangers were doing, but they got softer and depleted their ranks significantly. Derek Morris has one assist on the powerplay thus far on the season, so I'm not sure why the Rangers gave up a goldmine worth of talent for him. What I do know is that Phoenix got a whole lot better because of it.

There's your wrap-up of the day's activities, everyone! The drive for the Stanley Cup starts tonight. Will any of the big movers-and-shakers win the grandest prize of them all? We'll know in few months.

Until next time, keep your sticks on the ice!
